Spiritual Director – Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, a Buddhist nun and senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Gen-la Dekyong has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for 25 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Her responsibilities include giving Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments, granting precepts, and instructing Kadampa Teachers from around the world on the International Teacher Training Program.

Gen-la is also the Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Center, the Mother Center of Kadampa Buddhism, and regularly teaches at Festivals and Dharma Celebrations throughout the world.

As one of Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s close disciples, Gen-la Dekyong’s teachings, humility and kindness exemplify the essence of the Buddhist way of life.

 

Deputy Spiritual Director- Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and the Resident Teacher at KMC Texas.

He has studied under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and taught internationally for many years and is greatly admired for his warm personality and clear, inspiring teachings.

 

 

 

 

Retired General Spiritual Director- Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is a retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and National Spiritual Director of Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea. He is the Resident Teacher at KMC Canada. Gen-la Khyenrab is deeply respected throughout the Kadampa world as a sincere practitioner and powerful teacher.

 

 

 

 

Retired Deputy Spiritual Director- Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang

Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang

Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang is a retired Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU. She has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, during which time she has won the admiration and affection of many students through her pure example and loving-kindness.

Gen-la Kunsang provides an extraordinary example of a modern-day Kadampa practitioner for us to follow. She is a loving presence, and her teachings are powerful and clear.

 

 

Western US National Spiritual Director- Gen Kelsang Rigpa

Gen RigpaGen Kelsang Rigpa is an American Buddhist monk, the Western US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at KMC-Hollywood and KMC-California. He is a close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, having received lineage blessings and oral transmissions directly from him.
