Guided by a Senior Kadampa Teacher
Join us each week as we explore topics based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book The New Meditation Handbook. A practical manual for meditation in daily life, this book shows how we can develop authentic inner peace, overcome daily problems, and bring about positive change in our life.
$6/senior or student, free for KMC ATX members
ABOUT THE CLASS:
You do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or benefit from the techniques taught. Each class consists of guided meditations and clear explanations, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Although it is beneficial to attend the entire series, you may drop in at any time. Classes are held weekly. Suitable for all levels of experience.
ABOUT THE TEACHERS:
Laura has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years and is on the Teacher Training Program. Originally from Argentina, Laura brings a heartfelt and sincere explanation of meditation and Modern Buddhism to her teachings.
Zach is an example of a modern-day Kadampa Buddhist practitioner and is on the Teacher Training program. Zach brings practical daily examples to his teachings and meditations.
