In an effort to make things better, where do we start? Often times, our world problems seem overwhelming and we turn away from others’ hardships. Ultimately, we want to protect others from pain. Buddha taught that this is true compassion—a mind wishing to free others from suffering. By engaging our mind of compassion, we have the energy and the opportunity to heal our world.
In this weekly meditation series, you will receive teachings on the true meaning of compassion and learn meditations to develop this powerful mind. By keeping this timeless advice in our hearts, we can be of most benefit to others and therefore our world.
Classes include teachings, guided meditations, and a chance to discuss & ask questions. The class is followed by a virtual social time to chat with spiritual friends.
Although it is beneficial to attend the entire series, you may drop in at any time. Classes are held weekly. Suitable for all levels of experience. Everyone is welcome!
