Kadampa Meditation Center Austin exists to benefit the communities of Austin and surrounding areas

Becoming a Supporter of Your Dharma Center
Kadampa Meditation Center Austin exists to benefit residents of Austin and the surrounding area. KMC Austin is a non-profit organization which relies solely upon donations from kind supporters.  Becoming a supporter of the Center is a practical way to ensure that the Center thrives and can serve the community. We also encourage signing up for on-going membership to the Center for tax relief and to sustain a constant support base for the Center to grow and thrive upon.

Vision for the Future
In 1994, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, our Spiritual Guide and Director, founded the International Temples project, a vision of Kadampa Buddhist Temples in every major city in the world dedicated to world peace.  Austin, located in the center of the U.S.—easy to access and surrounded by beautiful hill country—is an ideal place for a Kadampa Temple.
