Developing Renunciation

The Path to Inner Peace (Mar 20)

Saturday, March 20, 2021 | 10AM–2:30PM

with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Wangpo

Live-Streamed ~ Course is available for 7 days after it goes live
“If we have the wish to liberate ourself from the sufferings of future lives, we will definitely use our present human life for the freedom and happiness of our countless future lives.  There is no greater meaning than this.”— Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Through meditation we can temporarily make our mind more peaceful, but how can we develop a more stable and lasting experience of inner peace, so that we can be peaceful all the time? The first step is to develop a mind of renunciation. Renunciation is a determination to liberate ourself permanently from the sufferings of our countless future lives.
Through developing and maintaining this special determination, we can guide ourself gradually to the permanent inner peace of nirvana.
In this day course, each session will include a teaching and guided meditation on Buddha’s initial and intermediate scope to help us develop this special mind of renunciation. Each session led by Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Wangpo.

11:30am–12:15pm Session 2
