We are excited to offer a special class dedicated to meditation and cultivating positive qualities. These classes center on the practical application of love and compassion in daily life.
As the winter holiday season begins we will learn practical methods to cherish others and develop an open, compassionate heart through meditation. Children and adults learn practical methods for cherishing others at school, at home, or at play by applying Buddha’s teachings.
Each creative class will include time for meditation instruction, a brief meditation, a group story and activity (i.e., revolving around mindfulness or developing compassion), and playful outdoor activities in the Eco Centro Garden such as songs and games for children concurrent with deeper discussion and meditation for adults.
$15 per family
Drop-in to any class. Everyone welcome!
Classes are open to all families – how ever you define family! We welcome kids of all ages and anticipate occasional, boisterous interruptions.
The instructor, Jamie Childers, has been practicing meditation for more than 15 years and has taught meditation in other cities before relocating to San Antonio. She is excited to offer this class for her own daughter and to other families in San Antonio so everyone can gain tools to develop peaceful minds and open hearts.
