Kadampa meditation retreats are powerful ways to gain deeper experiences of Buddha's teachings. On retreat, we stop all ordinary activities to the best of our abilities so that we may concentrate on our spiritual development. We guard our speech, observe periods of silence, and in particular, try to stop harmful or deluded thoughts. In attempting to apply these boundaries, our mind becomes peaceful and we can concentrate more fully and deeply on Dharma. Retreats are a great opportunity to increase our spiritual realizations.
Information about a retreat's daily sessions can be found in the
Monthly Calendar.
Retreat cost: $5 per session, $15 per day or $50 week
