Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Ingchug, a Western Buddhist nun, has been studying, practicing and teaching Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. She teaches with clarity and gentle humor, presenting Buddhism so it is accessible to everyone. Every year she attends an International Teachers Training Program, at Manjushri Center in England, together with all the Resident Teachers of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) Centers worldwide. There they study a series of Buddhist texts under the guidance of the Deputy and General Spiritual Directors of the NKT. She is currently the Resident Teacher of Chittamani Kadampa Buddhist Center in Austin, TX.
