Festivals


Each year Kadampa Buddhist Centers around the world organize large International Dharma Festivals and Celebrations in various countries.

These events are special spiritual vacations, when thousands of people gather to receive Buddhist teachings directly from the Spiritual Director of NKT, the Buddhist Master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, or from the National Spiritual Directors.

The Festivals and celebrations provide a wonderful opportunity to contemplate and meditate on these teachings in guided meditation retreats, and to discuss them with spiritual friends - from beginners to those who have been practicing Buddhism for many years.
